Our company has been using Silent Pilers for many years. They are our main machinery.
The current, third-generation president continues to use them, repairing them rather than replacing them. It's not just Silent Pilers that become obsolete; trucks, cranes, PCs, and many other things become obsolete. I suppose that's the fate of machinery manufacturers...
But even so, it felt like the Silent Piler's lifespan had long since expired. Then, Giken Seisakusho announced the release of a new model!
As this is the first new model in 10 years, I went to Giken Seisakusho to see it in person.
My honest impression is that it's fast and smooth! To put it in perspective, if the machine we currently use is a 2-ton truck, then the new model is like a sports car.
Is the president going to replace it!? Or is he still not replacing it?
I can't wait to see it in action on site!
